Growing up in Louisville, the Kentucky State Fair was a cherished annual event that marked the end of summer. This collection pays homage to the overwhelming and chaotic nature that is state fairs through six looks, each one inspired by a different role/ perspective of those attending state fairs.
Concept Development
This past summer, I attended the Kentucky State Fair with the purpose of gathering as much research and inspiration as possible. I documented primary and secondary research in this sketchbook, allowing myself to explore, experiment, and build the foundation for this collection.
